Take a look at the water experiments done by our little students. 

Water Consumption P12

 

 Preparatory activities: The teacher organized the classroom, provided the students with the necessary school supplies and instructed them about the activity.

Activity: During one week, between 15.05-19.05, students from two classrooms have performed the following activities related to water consumption.

Grade 6 had the task first search for the answers to the question: How much water do you use per day? To find the answer for this question, they had to fill in a chart that measured  the daily use of water at their home. Then they had to present the results highlighting what activities were the most consuming. After presenting the results of the chart to their younger colleagues from 5A, their colleagues had to try and find answers to the question: Where and how can we save water? They had the task to find and suggest ways to reduce water consumption.

 Results: Pupils became aware of the various water consumption sources and  learned how it can be reduced.

 Comments: Children were curious about the matter and used the opportunity to learn something new in a practical manner.

                 Create your own water animal

                       P11- Water Creature- Romania

Once upon a time, in the depths of the ocean, there was an unprecedented marine animal. No one

knew exactly what it looked like, but it was said to be the most beautiful and mysterious animal

of all time.

Legend had it that this animal was a combination of a whale and a sea cat, with its skin covered

in shiny scales in shades of blue and green. Its huge wings allowed it to easily float through the

water, while its powerful tail helped it to propel itself swiftly in the desired direction.

In addition to its amazing appearance, this animal was also said to have a magical ability: it

could sing a song so beautiful and mesmerizing that any creature that heard it was overcome with

a state of inner calm and peace.

Many sailors tried to catch this marine animal or photograph it, but all their attempts failed. The

animal was too fast and too intelligent to be caught or noticed, but it allowed its beauty to be

admired from time to time.

Eventually, the legend of the never-before-seen animal became a story that sailors told each

other by the light of the lamps aboard their ships. Who knows, maybe this animal is still alive

and sharing its beauty and melody with only a lucky few who get to see it glide through the

water with its unmatched grace.

 Activity: On the 2nd of March, our students have learned about the weather, different types of meteorological phenomena and how to express them in conversation.

 Results: Pupils became aware of the various ways in which weather can be talked about in English.

 Comments: Children were curious about the weather and used the opportunity to learn something new in a practical manner.
